Singapore Cambridge O level
The Singapore-Cambridge "O" level examination (English name Singapore-Cambridge general certificate of education ordinary level examinations, referred to as GCE "O" level) is a unified examination jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education of Singapore and the Cambridge University Examinations Board in the United Kingdom. Exams taken after 4 years of secondary education. The examination is held once a year, and the examination results are recognized and accepted by the countries of the Commonwealth of Nations. Candidates can use the results obtained as a standard to apply for entry into Singapore Junior Colleges, Polytechnics or ITE, or junior colleges or university preparatory classes in overseas Commonwealth countries.
Subjects tested: English, Chinese, Mathematic, Science (Physical and Chemistry), Humanities (Geography and History), etc., of which at least 4 subjects should be selected. And other subjects: advanced mathematics, advanced Chinese, physics, chemistry, biology, science (any two of the three subjects of physics, chemistry and biology combined into one), accounting, geography, history, social science. Because this test is equivalent to the graduation test of Singapore middle school students, speaking of the difficulty of the test, for Chinese students who have received 9 years of education, Chinese is an existing advantage. As long as other subjects are relatively remedial, pay close attention to the study of English and succeed. The confidence is high.
